The device that lead to the Ipad is the PDA. Invented by Apple, the PDA stands for a person data assistant, and was used to store your personal information. The first basic PDA's only had the ability to store information, however today new age PDA's can do things such as surf the internet, hold music, contain a GPS system, basically anything. Many business people would use PDA's in there everyday life, getting rid of the necessity to use pencil and paper. Now with modern age devices, there being used in hospitals, businesses, classrooms, and many more. Without the PDA, we would not have the advanced technology we have today.
